High quality aviation consulting

IS-BAO

The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operators is both a code of best practices and a voluntary standard, specifically designed by, and for, the business aviation industry. SMS plays a central role in the IS-BAO standard.

Following its official endorsement by the European Committee for Standardisation (i.e. CEN) in August 2009, IS-BAO will therefore be recognised as a means of compliance with the upcoming EASA Implementing Rules that are expected to enter into force in 2012. This will be of particular interest to operators of complex aircraft conducting non-commercial operations, since the next regulatory framework will mandate an SMS in their case. IS-BAO and it's SMS Toolkit are clearly their best option to manage safety and meet EASA requirements.

Skytation is actively involved in IS-BAO auditing, training and consulting since 2005.
